Welcome

We’re the Wake Forest Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wake Forest, North Carolina — a community of faith, service, and fellowship.

“And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.”

2nd Nephi 23:26

Remembering the life of President Russell M. Nelson

With deep love and gratitude, we honor the life and ministry of President Russell M. Nelson, prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at the age of 101.

We express appreciation for his lifetime of devoted service and inspired guidance. From his decades as a world-renowned heart surgeon to his nearly 40 years as an apostle and prophet, President Nelson dedicated his life to blessing others and testifying of Jesus Christ.

His teachings and example have strengthened faith, encouraged service, and reminded us to find joy in following the Savior.

We invite you to read the Church’s official memorial tribute and reflect on his remarkable legacy, which can be found by clicking here.

May we honor his memory by living the truths he taught and continuing in faith and love.

Stakes & Congregations

In our faith, congregations are usually called wards. Smaller congregations are sometimes referred to as branches. Together, the wards and branches make up what we call a stake.
