Humbled Themselves and Put Their Trust in God — A 40-Day Invitation
The Wake Forest Stake Community Conference for Christ (Stake Conference) is happening this weekend, February 14–15.
During the Sunday session, President Will Thornton will extend a special invitation to all Wake Forest members to participate in a 40-day period of fasting and prayer. This effort will follow a format similar to last year’s meaningful and successful fast, when two wards were assigned each week and members selected a day that worked best for them.
This year, our focus will again be on missionary work. Members are invited to fast and pray for:
those who are: prepared to receive the gospel,
for opportunities to find and baptize them,
and for continued strength and support for those who are beginning their journey on the covenant path—including progressing toward temple ordinances.
President Thornton’s message will be centered on Helaman 3:35, and he will share more details during Sunday’s conference session.
