Small Acts, Big Impact: Wake Forest Youth Serving Our Community

This past Saturday was one of those days that fills your heart to the brim. đź’›

Nearly 100 incredible youth came together for our Wake Forest Stake Youth Service activity—and wow, did they show up ready to serve! Because of their energy and teamwork, we were able to accomplish so much good in just a few hours.

Together, they assembled 160 bags filled with essential home care items. These bags were distributed throughout our community, including at our church building, a Franklin County school hub, the Wake Forest Community Table at Hope House, and several other local pantries. It was amazing to see how quickly simple acts of service turned into meaningful support for families in need.

But the impact didn’t stop there.

Some of our youth rolled up their sleeves at the Journey Ministry Food Pantry warehouse in Youngsville, tackling important projects behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly. Others poured their creativity and kindness into making more than 100 Valentine’s Day cards through the Cupid Project. These heartfelt cards were delivered to local seniors, bringing smiles and reminding them they are loved and remembered.

We are so proud of these young people. Their willingness to give their time and talents is inspiring—and a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we come together with a shared purpose.

Way to go, everyone! 👏

We’re already looking forward to April and Global Youth Service Day, when we’ll join youth all around the world in making a difference through service. If Saturday was any indication, amazing things are ahead!
