Introducing the Archer Lodge Ward
We are excited to share a wonderful milestone in the Wake Forest North Carolina Stake. With the approval of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, a new ward—the Archer Lodge Ward—has been created. Formed on November 30, 2025, this new ward becomes the 12th unit in our growing and thriving stake.
The Archer Lodge Ward is made up of beloved members previously part of the Knightdale 1st Ward and the Zebulon Ward. While no stake boundaries were changed, the new ward sits just south of both the Knightdale 1st and Zebulon boundaries. As part of these adjustments, the line between the Knightdale 1st and Zebulon Wards was moved slightly east. This means some members of the former Zebulon Ward are now part of the Knightdale 1st Ward. No additional members were added to the Zebulon Ward from other units.
Last week, members joyfully sustained the following bishops to lead and serve in their respective wards:
Ryan M. Olaveson – Bishop of the Knightdale 1st Ward
W. Chris Yandow – Bishop of the Zebulon Ward
Eric P. Cottle – Bishop of the new Archer Lodge Ward
We invite all to join in worship at the following times and locations:
Knightdale 1st Ward – Knightdale Building, 10:30 a.m.
Zebulon Ward – Zebulon Building, 9:00 a.m.
Archer Lodge Ward – Zebulon Building, 11:30 a.m.
These inspired changes come from a loving Heavenly Father who guides His Church to bless His children. It is truly exciting to witness the continued growth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in our community. We see the fulfillment of prophetic promises all around us as we prepare for the Savior’s return.
The creation and realignment of these wards open new opportunities for service, leadership, connection, and spiritual strengthening. We look forward with faith and gratitude as the Wake Forest Stake continues to grow—both in number and in Christlike unity.
