What Happens When 100 Youth Decide to Serve?

Last Saturday was seriously amazing — and it’s all because of YOU. 🙌

Nearly 100 of you showed up for our Wake Forest Stake Youth Service activity ready to work, serve, and make a difference… and you absolutely delivered.

In just a few hours, you put together 160 bags filled with home care essentials. Those bags didn’t just sit in a room — they were distributed right away in our church building, at a Franklin County school hub, at the Wake Forest Community Table at Hope House, and other local pantries. Real people in our community are being helped because of what you did.

Some of you headed to Journey Ministry Food Pantry in Youngsville and tackled warehouse projects that keep their whole operation running. That kind of behind-the-scenes work matters more than you probably realize.

And let’s talk about the Cupid Project — over 100 Valentine’s Day cards created for local seniors. More than paper and markers, those cards carried kindness, encouragement, and the reminder that someone is thinking about them. That’s powerful.

Here’s the thing: service like this doesn’t happen without people who are willing to give up their Saturday morning. You chose to show up. You chose to help. And because of that, our community is better.

We’re so proud of you.

Now get ready — April is Global Youth Service Day 🌎✨ That’s our chance to link arms with youth all around the world and make an even bigger impact. If this weekend proved anything, it’s that when we come together, we can do a LOT of good.

Can’t wait to do it again with you.
