New Easter Cantata Performance— Come Unto Him!
We are excited to announce that a combined Wake Forest Stake and community choir will be performing Come, an Easter cantata written by a member of our stake. This beautiful work includes music and narration focused on Christ’s divine mission and His loving invitation for us to Come unto Him.
The cantata will be performed at the Wake Forest Stake Center on Sunday, March 22, at 6:30 p.m.
Let us heed the call “to move to a higher and holier celebration of Easter.”
President Oaks taught:
“As we enter this new year, let us prepare for an Easter celebration of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, culminating in His Resurrection—the most glorious event in history. . . . Celebrate the Resurrection of our living Savior by studying His teachings and helping to establish Easter traditions in our society as a whole, especially within our own families.” (Feb. 2025)
Calling All Singers!
We would love to have you join the cantata choir! All skill levels, ages 14 and up, are welcome. Please invite neighbors and friends—we would love to involve the broader community.
