Global Youth Service Day is Around the Corner

Global Youth Service Day is Saturday, April 25th. Around the globe and right here at home, youth are signing up to volunteer in their communities. This annual event is the longest running youth participation event. And it continues to run because of the impact the youth make and the impact they feel.
This year there are eleven different projects from Knightdale to Oxford and places in between. Youth can choose from being a buddy at baseball games, building garden boxes, creating capes, backing backpacks and a host of other service options.
This event is open to anyone in the community from 11 to 18. Parents are invited to sign up as well to help assist with the projects. Here’s to making a difference.

Sign up at www.globalyouthservicedaync.com to pick your project!
