BYU Football Devotional in Raleigh
RISE AND SHOUT! We're just under two weeks away from the BYU-East Carolina football game. This will mark BYU's second visit ever to Greenville, NC, and the first since 2017. As part of their community outreach and the football program's desire to share the Light of Christ with everyone, there will be a devotional on the Friday night before the game, featuring the following speakers from the football staff:
Chad Lewis, Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Development
Many Cougar fans will remember Bro. Lewis as a standout tight end for the team in the mid-1990s. He's also a nine-year NFL veteran and was selected to the Pro Bowl three times.
Kenny Cox, Assistant AD of Football Media Relations and Communications
Bro. Cox might be a familiar face to some of you, as he was a full-time missionary in the NC Raleigh Mission from 2005-2007!
Justin Anderson, BYU Football Director of Player Personnel
A former BYU wide receiver, Bro. Anderson has professional experience at East Carolina, Virginia, and Nicholls State.
Since the team is staying in the Triangle area, the devotional will be held at the Raleigh Stake Center (5060 Six Forks Rd., Raleigh) on Friday, Sept. 19 from 6:30-7:30pm.
Whether you're a football fan or not, this will be a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to join you and attend an uplifting evening focused on the Savior.
