The Wake Forest Stake is pleased to announce a new series of Self-Reliance Courses starting this fall. Sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, these courses are completely free and open to everyone in the community.
Why Participate? These 10-to-12-week courses combine practical skills with small-group support to help you achieve meaningful personal growth. Participants work together in a collaborative environment to build real-world skills, set achievable goals, and support one another along the way.
Available course topics include:
Find a Better Job: Learn practical strategies for job hunting, interviewing, and career advancement.
Personal Finance: Master budgeting, eliminate debt, and plan for a secure financial future.
Start a Business: Gain essential skills to launch or grow your own enterprise.
Emotional Resilience: Develop healthy coping mechanisms, manage stress, and build inner strength.
Learn English: Practice and improve language skills (classes available year-round).
